The Metric System has been adopted by most of the world but in the U.S. it never stuck. There are some major measurements that can be made Metric. The primary sizes are as such:
- meter – length
- gram – mass
- kilogram
- Celsius- Temp
- Candela – Luminosity
- Liter – Volume
